This Saturday.

Had a great girls day out with Cau & Chee at Mid Valley, or The Gardens if i wanna sound more high class HAHA.

Basically just a catching up session with mam mam Cau, and did the thing we do best, which is 'mam mam'. :D We met up for a nice lunch, strolling around in the mall gossiping and siasoi-ing ourselves around, meow-ed all the way long and then went food hunting AGAIN.

You know why i love life in kuching more than life in this big city? We can spend the whole day out without getting exhausted. Honestly, i really don't know why is it so tiring, it's just merely waiting for the bus and a little more walking. So it's my stamina problem? Or maybe the emoness of spending so much on just one day out (esp on nice food) adds on the fatigue? Really, you can have all the nice food you want in this big city, but there goes your money. Guilty pleasure i call it. Just like shopping.

Met Shin in Sunway Pyramid before heading back to hostel. A short meet up it was, but i'm glad we made it. :) Long time no see lah dengan orang tu. And he gave me Starbucks. I can have Starbucks without spending rm20 why not LOL. But me and Chee both agreed that i'm so cheap, to drink someone's leftover Starbucks. -_____- But thanks, anyway.

Went to Borders at The Gardens for the first time and fell in love with it. It was spacious and comfy inside there, and there's a Starbucks outlet in there omg? I mean, you can bring a magazine/book (no need to buy it) and read it at Starbucks and every 20 minutes, Borders' staffs will go and collect them and circulate the magazines or something i don't know lah, didn't read the thing properly.

The cheapest book we found in there is RM8.50, less 20% somemore! They were all books by Jane Austen, ie they're classics. Was so tempted to buy some! However i didn't get any at the end because i'm reading a classic now (Jane Eyre) and it was so tough for me *wipes sweat* it took me ONE whole year to read it, giving up a zillion times in between and read it all over again. Hence the decision is to switch back to a normal fiction book after Jane Eyre till i'm ready for another classic. I hope Jane Austen is not as tough as Charlotte Bronte though.

The atmosphere inside Borders is awesome it triggers the reading mood, i feel like buying books from every single genre and author and read books forever. Hah. And if only i had one day to waste, I'd buy a book and sit in the Starbucks in Borders and read all day long. (Don't go other Starbucks, very noisy can't read :P )

Random conversation with Chee about future.

Me: Where do you wanna work after graduation?
Chee: Don't know, anywhere that has a job for me. You?
Me: *laugh* Wait till i've decided on what to study first, then i'll tell you.

LOL

Also i found money extremeeeeeeely important. Until i concluded that our lives would be VERY tiring in the future, because we have to work hard to earn as much cash as we can, and it feels like it's never gonna end till we die. OMG what have i become.

AND lastly! Needa cut down on outings and dreaming and all other things to add A LOT of time to studying from now on! 'A's are so damn hard to maintain, what are so great about them anyways hmphh :( But no matter what, i still want my 'A's.

The power of 'A's. The power of kiasu and kiasi.

Till next time. :)
